PLEASE READ Unless you are replacing Firex FADC, ADC, and AD, you are REQUIRED to replace ALL your old alarms with new Kidde units. Otherwise, your old Firex units will NOT be able to communicate with the new Kidde units (with KA-F adapters)
Firex models: FADC, ADC, and AD have been tested for interconnect/commmunication compatibility with Kidde alarms models: 1235, 1275, 1276, 1285, i12020, i12040, i12060, i12080, i4618, i5000, PE120, PI2010, KN-COSM-IB, KN-COB-IC, KN-COP-IC, i12010S, i12010SCO and RF-SM-AC/DC.

The quick convert adapter allows the installation of a new Kidde alarm to an existing competitive wiring harness. This allows for easy installation when replacing the specified smoke alarm brands with a Kidde product. The smoke alarm adapter also allows the specified approved brands and models to be interconnected with other Kidde product.
