The FireX® 6030, 6035, and 6045 and 6080 and 6085 Canadian models are residential carbon monoxide alarms. Each unit has an 85 decibel horn, test/reset button, and three separate power/fault/alarm LED indicators. These FireX carbon monoxide alarms utilize biomimetic sensing technology. Biomimetic sensors react to CO similarly to the way hemoglobin in human blood reacts. This technology is based on a rate of change principle - monitoring the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in the surrounding environment over time. These units meet the most current UL and ULC requirements.
- 120V AC Direct Wire - These alarms are for single or multiple station use. They are interconnectable with up to 12 other FireX carbon monoxide alarms of the same model.
- Square Shape - Easily distinguished from smoke alarms.
- Easy to Install - Flexible mounting to surface, junction box or octagon box with Quick Connect™ wiring harness.
