The shallow incandescent housing is ideal for applications where vertical installation space is limited. The energy-efficient housing features an Air-Loc® installation to stop infiltration and exfiltration of air, reducing heating and cooling costs. The IC-rated housing can also be completely covered with insulation.

- 5-3/4-inch height for use in 2 x 6 construction
- Shadow-free, knife-edge trim design blends smoothly into the ceiling
- Floating socket with spring for quick trim attachment and consistent lamp positioning
- Housing is vertically adjustable to accommodate up to a 1-inch ceiling thickness
- Real Nail® 3 bar hangers: telescoping system with pre-installed removable nail for repositioning and integral T-bar mounting feature for suspended ceilings
- Pre-wired junction box with five 1/2-inch and one 3/4-inch knockouts with pryout slots, 4 non-metallic sheathed cable connectors, and ground wire
- Shadow-free, knife-edge trim design blends smoothly into the ceiling
- UL Listed, cUL Certified for through-branch wiring, maximum 8 No. 12 AWG branch circuit conductors: 4 in, 4 out
- Thermally protected against improper use of lamps or insulation
