With this replacement kit, you can perform 3-easy-step installation:

  1. Replace the ceiling mounting bracket with new one (included).
  2. Install quick convert adapter and attach existing wiring to the alarm.
  3. The new alarm will now be interconnected and compatible with your Firex alarm system.

If you want to rewire, get the regular Kidde HD135F without the adapter.

description

The Kidde HD135F is a 120VAC Wire In Heat Alarm that responds to temperature rather than smoke. The alarm will sound if temperatures rise about the 135°F. The Kidde HD135F interconnects with up to 24 devices (of which 18 can be initiating) including smoke, CO and heat alarms. This unit includes a 5-year limite4d warranty and is UL Listed.

This product Kidde HD135F replaces Firex 5700.
