- Designed for use in IC (insulated ceiling) or non-IC construction
- Galvanized steel housing sealed for Air-Loc compliance, with optional pre-installed Air-Loc gasket applied to housing when G (gasket) option is ordered
- Remodel springs accommodate up to a 5/8" ceiling thickness
- Features non-screw base 120V plug-in orange connector
- Compatible with retrofit LED trim modules
- Pre-wired junction box, UL and cUL listed for throughbranch wiring maximum 4 No. 12 AWG 90 degrees C branch circuit conductors (2 in, 2 out)
- Junction box provided with removable access plate, (5) 1/2" knockouts, (4) Non-metallic sheathed cable connectors and ground wire
- Knockouts equipped with pryout slots
- Optional push-in electrical connectors for fast, secure wiring when ordering W (push in connector) option
- For remodel application where back side of ceiling is not accessible
- Installs through an opening in the ceiling from below • Secured in place by factory installed remodel springs
- Can be used to comply with 2019 Title 24 Part 6 JA8 high efficacy LED light source requirements
- UL listed for U.S. and Canada through-branch wiring, damp locations
- When used with E, RLD and RetroBasics, suitable for wet locations
- UL and cUL
