- The test button/light indicator is shipped disconnected from the emergency battery pack to prevent battery discharge during storage and installation.
- Note: Once the test button is connected and A/C power is turned on, disconnecting the test button will no longer prevent the battery from discharging in Emergency Mode when A/C power is lost.
- When the test button is connected, the emergency battery pack will function as intended, providing 90 minutes of emergency power when A/C power is lost.
- If the room is decommissioned for an extended period of time and there is a need to disconnect the battery, press and hold the test button for 5 seconds or until the battery stops discharging while the emergency battery pack is in Emergency Mode.
- This will prevent the battery from discharging in Emergency Mode. The battery will automatically reengage once AC power is restored.
- The red indicator light provides visual assurance the emergency battery pack is operational and connected to A/C power.
- Suitable for use in plenum, damp locations, recessed type IC and enclosed and gasketed LED luminaires
